We grieve the loss of people or things that are important to us. One of life's greatest challenges is dealing with the loss of a person or something very meaningful to us. After that comes the difficult process of adapting to the loss. I began my grief-journey when my wife died. I wrote about how I was barely getting through my grief. I asked others to share with me their grief-stories. I found some grief-stories that were not true, but they mirrored my experiences and feelings. So, I crafted stories that represent a combination of fact and fiction that I called "Storied Truth".
Doctors and nurses are the healers at the hospital, and we want healthy healers to heal us. But for those who are grieving, the best healers are those who have been wounded by grief but are on the grief-journey to recovery. They are "Wounded Healers". Author:
