Each year, New Internationalist's One World Calendar portrays positive and inspiring images of people around the world. The photographs are taken by some of the world's leading photographers, many from countries in the Global South. The theme of the 2021 edition is Weather. This large-format wall calendar is a collaboration between New Internationalist and a consortium of aid agencies worldwide. Photographs are accompanied by thoroughly researched text, giving background information and context to the subject of each photograph. The dual-purpose design gives a choice of displays: photos and dates only, or photos and appointments calendar.
