Her debut novel, Written in the Stars, was a 2021 Lambda Literary Award winner and a 2020 winner of The Ripped Bodice Awards for Excellence in Romantic Fiction.
Elise Bryant is the NAACP Image Award-nominated author of
Happily Ever Afters,
One True Loves,
Reggie and Delilah's Year of Falling,
It's Elementary, and
The Game Is Afoot. For many years, Elise had the joy of working as a special education teacher, and now she spends her days reading, writing, and eating dessert. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Long Beach, California.
Lifelong nerd Olivia Dade has held various rewarding jobs over the years--librarian, high school teacher, Colonial Williamsburg interpreter--but is thrilled to have finally achieved her ultimate goal of wearing pajamas all day as a hermit-like writer and enthusiastic hag. She currently lives outside Stockholm with her delightful family and their ever-burgeoning collection of books.
Alexis Daria is the award-winning and
USA Today bestselling author of
You Had Me at Hola,
Along Came Amor,
Take the Lead, and more. Her books have been featured on several "Best of" lists and have received starred reviews from multiple trade publications. A former visual artist, Alexis is a lifelong New Yorker who loves Broadway musicals and pizza.
Sarah Hogle is a mom of three who enjoys K-dramas and provoking her husband for attention. Her dream is to live in a falling-apart castle in a forest that is probably cursed. She is also the author of
You Deserve Each Other,
Twice Shy,
Just Like Magic,
Old Flames and New Fortunes, and
The Folklore of Forever.
Zakiya N. Jamal was born in Queens, raised on Long Island, and currently resides in Brooklyn. In other words, she's a New Yorker through and through. Sleepless in Seattle and the 2005 version of
Pride & Prejudice on repeat, or curled up with a book she didn't have to write.
Susan Lee is a
USA TODAY bestselling author of young adult and adult romantic comedies. Her work has been featured in national outlets such as NPR,
Oprah Daily, and
Harper's Bazaar.
Kirkus Reviews calls her voice "honest, fresh and thoughtful." Susan built a career as an executive at some of today's hottest companies but now channels her energy into publishing Happily Ever Afters for those historically underrepresented in romance. When not writing Susan can be found in her pajamas all day cuddling with her senior diva chihuahua, Buttercup.
Joss Richard (she/her) is the international bestselling author of

Writing as M.A. Wardell, Lambda Literary Award nominee Matt writes spicy, heartfelt gay romance. He's passionate about telling adult queer love stories featuring flawed, messy men who deserve big feelings, real growth, and a happily ever after. Matt grew up craving more queer representation in the media, so now he writes the stories he always wanted to experience. He's the author of the Teacher in Love series as well as other stories that center queer joy.
After years of meddling in her friends' love lives, Rebekah Weatherspoon turned to writing romance to get her fix. Many award-winning novels later she still believes in love, the fluffier the better. Raised in southern New Hampshire, Rebekah now lives in southern California with her dog Lizzie. She will remain there forever because she hates moving.
